Ingredients
- Tomatoes (4)
- Garlic cloves (2)
- Green Chillies (4)
- Sesame seeds 2 tea spoons
- Oil 2 or 3 tea spoons
- Roast sesame seeds in a pan till it splutters and keep aside.
- In the same pan, pour some oil and fry the green chillies.
- Remove the green chillies and in the same oil , drop the cut tomatoes, add a pinch of turmeric and salt to taste and cook the tomatoes.
- In a blender mix the roasted sesame seeds, tomato gravy and green chillies and garlic cloves.
- Remove the gravy from the blender into a bowl.
- Heat little oil in a pan from seasoning, add mustard, jeera and some urad daal , pinch of turmeric.
- Pour the oil along with seasoning into the tomato gravy
This tomato pachadi is my favourite and goes well with white rice.
